IV Edition of the Week of the Italian Cuisine in Ethiopia

In the framework of the fourth edition of the Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World launched in Ethiopia last Monday. The Embassy of Italy in Addis Ababa hosted an official promotional event with the participation of 600 guests including Ethiopian Government authorities, Ambassadors, representatives of the Italian and Ethiopian business and cultural communities, nationals and other distinguished guests.
During the event, organized under the motto “Italian food: you taste it, you love it!” , special dishes from Apulia and Tuscany Regions were presented in an innovative shape by the chefs of the Italian Hotel Management School “Aldo Moro” of Santa Cesarea Terme.
A musical performance by Ethio-Colors band of Melaku Belay and a fashion show with the designers from African Mosaique, owned by the world-renowned former supermodel Annah Getaneh completed the programme of the day.
