Alliance Ethio-Française presents the first youth book fair in Addis Ababa

As part of the 125th anniversary of Franco-Ethiopian relations, the Ethio-French Alliance of Addis Ababa organizes the first youth book fair. The event started taking place starting from the 10th and will end on December 17, 2022.

Alliance Ethio-Française prepares the book fair in collaboration with the Embassy of France in Ethiopia and the Abrehot Library. To celebrate the launch of the first book fair Alliance Ethio-française held a Press Lunch on December 6th 2022 briefing the event for journalists.
The event is expected to bring together hundreds of people around their passion for reading as well as multiple fun activities as variety of activities will be offered to both adults and children. It will be hosting numerous activities ranging from storytelling to illustration workshops and outdoor games. the event include the inauguration of the ‘French Speaking Corner’ composed of several thousand books within the Abrehot library
The Alliance Ethio-Française is the first cultural institution established in the Ethiopian capital in 1907 to fostering cultural and linguistic exchanges between France and Ethiopia.
