Topic- UNICEF (Ethiopia) wishes to request eligible bidders to participate in a Request for Proposal (LRPS) for the Rehabilitation/Reconstruction of 23 Health Facilities in Tigray

Any query or clarification regarding this bid shall be sent through an email to supplyaddisababa@unicef.org before or on 17 May 2025. There will be a pre-bid meeting on 08 May 2025 @ 2:00 PM. Bid clarification will be communicated on the same website at 2merkato.com to the public.  While sending your request for clarification, please ensure that you specify the LRPS number in the subject email, and provide the name of your company, contact person, email, and mobile number.

The due date for submission of proposals/Bids to the UNICEF Addis Ababa Office is on or before 2:00 PM (East African Time) on 22 May 2025.  Please read the LRPS for detailed requirements and due dates.

Submission of bids should be done as per the below requirements.

a) Technical bid submission should be with a separate email from the Financial bid submission

b) RFP reference and whether Technical or Financial submission should be indicated on the Subject of the email.

Expression of Interest (EOI) Translation Services – English to French

The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA)invites qualified firms to submit EOIs for translating monthly HR communications (1 newsletter ~2,000 words and up to 4 memos) from English to French. Services must ensure accuracy, cultural relevance, tone consistency, delivery within 3 working days, and data confidentiality.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in translation services, Experience with HR content for UN or international organizations, Native French speakers with strong English proficiency, Proven confidentiality and data security practices

Deliverables

• Timely monthly translations of HR newsletters and memos.

Submission

Interested vendors must submit:

• EOI letter, Company profile and team details, Relevant experience and sample work, Certificate of incorporation and business licenses, Proof of UNGM Level 2 registration (mandatory before submission), Only shortlisted vendors will be invited to the RFP stage. Submission does not create a legal contract with ECA.

Deadline

EOIs must be submitted by 12 May 2025 using the Vendor Response Form. If unavailable, send directly to the designated email. Questions must be submitted at least 3 days before the deadline.
