Francesca De Fazi meets Kaÿn Lab, performs in Addis

Francesca De Fazi is an Italian blues singer and guitarist, whose passion and spirit led the press to define her as one of the best in the future of Italian blues. Grown artistically in England and the United States, she began her musical profession entering the Italian market and then growing in the European one through participation in numerous festivals. Later in her career she embarked on the solo project “the one woman band” working with some big names in the world of blues like Max De Bernardi.
Kaÿn Lab is a jazz fusion band that focuses on Ethiopian rhythms with the desire to create innovative music. The band composed by Abiy Woldemariam on the keyboard, Jonovan Cooper on saxophone, Jeff Dingler on bass and Dawit Adera on drums will meet singer Francesca De Fezi for an unmissable concert.
Artistically grown in England and especially in the U.S where she performed at the House of Blues and BB King Blues Club in Los Angeles, her debut album was in 2001 with the so-called “Handmade”, a self produced record.
Francesca De Fazi and Kaÿn Lab performed at the Italian Cultural Institute on Wednesday December 13, 2017, to a full auditorium.
