NegedBank, Sebeta and Jimma AbaBuna appointed new Head Coaches

Ethiopian Super League clubs are announcing the appointments of new Head Coaches ahead of the new season kick-off on 3rd, October 2022. Ethiopia NegedBank, Sebeta Ketema, Jimma AbaBuna all three former Premier League sides are the notable teams expected to mount strong promotion campaign.
The Coach who helped Medin (Insurance) into promotion last season, Beselot Leulseged took over at promotion aspiring Ethiopia NegedBank in place of Degarege Yigzaw who left the job to join top tier side Baherdar Ketema. A seasoned Super League Coach, a strong financial support from the country’s biggest bank and best talents that money could buy, Ethiopia NegedBank is one of the favorites to win promotion at the end of the season.
Sebeta Ketema appears determined to bounce back to the top tier at the end of the current season. This huge task is handed to former Coach, Club manager and Ethio-Electric technical director Taye Nanecha. Just 25 KM from the capital Addis Ababa and a huge home support from fans, Sebeta has every opportunity to form a strong side capable mounting a return to the upper tier.
Three seasons at Super league, the once most famous side that represents the Western Coffee Empire Jimma, AbaBuna FC is another promotion favorite. Following a huge fund raising campaign among local investors and investors, AbaBuna signed Aschalew H/Michael in a one year contract his priority leading the club to the Premier League at the end of the season.
After two years absence from the sport due to the current situation in Northern Ethiopia, former top tier side Woldeya Ketema is back in to action. The former national team and Ethiopia Bunna player Kalid Mohammed is the new boss at Woldiya.
