DMP begins export of oil from Golden Africa Djibouti

The multi-purpose port of Doraleh (DMP) received a tanker-type ship; the MT. SUGAR MONROVIA, chartered by Golden Africa Djibouti, the main oil refining and packaging plant in the region. This vessel is expected to receive 34,000 MT of palm oil that is destined to go to Mersin, Turkey.
Golden Africa Djibouti SARL is an oil processing and packaging plant. Its production capacity is 800 metric tons per day of finished products.
DMP is the main transit point for this oil from Malaysia.
Indeed Golden Africa Djibouti SARL, inaugurated in December 2018, has until then carried out imports which were redistributed in the region. DMP, operator of Golden Africa Djibouti SARL products, did not hesitate to put in place all the necessary logistics to support new export projects.
This is indisputable proof that DMP is strengthening its position as a high-level port, industrial and logistics platform. Benefiting from a strategic geographical position on the Bâb el Mandeb, this port makes it possible to consolidate the international connectivity of Djibouti, and consequently to strengthen the Djiboutian competitiveness on an international scale.
