Enhancing the international tax communication in Ethiopia

Huawei Ethiopia in collaboration with Ethiopian ministry of Finance and Ministry of Revenue organized a two days tax workshop in the purpose of strengthening the tax communication in Ethiopia.
In the workshop held from June 21–22, 2023, high-level international experts conducted In-depth discussions focused on the countries and international tax experiences. E-commerce taxation, transfer pricing, tax collection and management practices in China, and tax policy trends in Ethiopia are among the topics discussed during the workshop.
In the opening Huawei Ethiopia & Congo rep office CFO Zhangxiao said that the workshop is organized to discuss on international tax communication and to share China’s and Huawei’s experience in this regard.
Ministry of Finance Legislative advisor Wassihun Abate on his side also praised Huawei for organizing such workshop that brings some advance tax experience to the country.
In the workshop more than 16 directors and advisors from MoF and MoR participated. And after the workshop some of them mentioned that they got new international experience regarding taxation.
