INVITATION TO OPEN TENDER
Organization for Welfare and Development in Action (OWDA) is a national non-governmental humanitarian organization established in 1999 in Jigjiga Ethiopia, serving pastorals and agro-pastoral communities in the Ethiopian Somali Regional State. OWDA has been actively engaged in humanitarian and development initiatives across various parts of the Somali region for several years, yielding significant positive outcomes. Currently, in collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP), and supported by Germany’s Ministry of Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and KfW, OWDA is implementing a transformative 4-year project titled “Climate Proofing Food Security in Ethiopia’s Drought-Prone Lowland Areas,” locally known as IFTIIN. The project aims to enhance resilience, improve livelihoods, and reduce aid dependency in the Somali region, targeting 30,933 beneficiaries in Gode and East Imey Woredas.
The purpose of this advertisement is to invite competent contractors for supply of quality field tractors based on the specified type of farm tractor with its accessories and other agricultural equipment listed as below description.

Interested Contractors/Suppliers qualified and legally registered in Ethiopia for supply of the above listeed equipment and materials, and have valid trading licenses, meet their tax obligations may obtain the complete set of tendering documents at the following OWDA Office during office hours:

The tendering is from April 7 up to 21, 2025. The deadline for picking the tender documents is April 21st 4:30 pm and submission of tender is April 22nd , 10:00AM.
Bids shall be opened at the OWDA Jigjiga office on April 22nd , 2025, 3:00 Pm in the presence of tenders who may wish to attend.
The Organization for Welfare and Development in Action reserves the right to reject the whole or part of any or all Tender
NB: Both the receiving and the submission of bid document will be at Jigjiga office.
