0

Sidama Bunna’s dismal season continues with a resounding four-nil defeat against league leaders Fasil Ketema followed by unconvincing goalless draw with Mekelakeya on Wednesday. Fans are exerting pressure against club officials calling for the sacking of Coach Gebremedin Haile.
“I am not worried about losing my job. But it is almost impossible to work under such circumstances,” Gebremedin remarked to reporters in sheer frustration.
A single win, five draws and two defeats in the past six consecutive matches Sidama Bunna is just two points behind relegation zone with eight points from eight matches.
A season opening goalless draw with Ethiopia Bunna followed by a 3-0 victory over Diredawa, many considered the Coach who helped the side survive at the top tier last season was sure to lead the way into glory. But since then things turned into a downward slide with four draw and two defeats. Sidama is 13th in the table with eight points thus fans stood against their former hero calling for his resignation.
Despite the pressure from fans, the club leaders took the wiser decision of sticking to Gebremedin in fear of breaching his two years expensive contract. Rather they gave their full backing to the coach and promised to further strengthen the team in the coming transfer window.

Ethiopia’s Gotytom Gebreslase and Kenya’s Philemon Kiplimo claimed victory at the Bahrain Royal International Night Half Marathon – a World Athletics Label road race – when the event returned for its second edition.
After running 2:20:09 to triumph when making her marathon debut in Berlin in September, Gotytom achieved another impressive result as she improved her half marathon PB to 1:05:36 in Manama to win by 11 seconds ahead of home favorite Kalkidan Gezahegne – the Olympic 10,000m silver medalist who was making her half marathon debut after breaking the world 10km record with 29:38 in Geneva in October.
The women’s race had got off to a blistering start, with Gotytom and Kalkidan both part of a group which passed the 5km mark in 14:53, well inside world record pace. The race also featured Kenya’s former world record-holder Ruth Chepngetich, who had run 1:04:02 in Istanbul in April and won October’s Chicago Marathon in 2:22:31, but she ran to around 17km in Manama and did not finish.
Gotytom had increased her lead to 11 seconds by the finish, with the top two clear ahead of the rest of the field. Sheila Kiprotich secured third place in 1:07:01 and was followed by her Kenyan compatriots Irene Cheptai, who was four seconds back.

Back in the 2005/06 season of the UEFA Champions League there were some really powerful teams. Certainly those were great times to visit 1xbet.co.ke and make all sorts of wagers. The final of that competition came, and the teams that would face each other in that instance were:

  • FC Barcelona;
  • and Arsenal.

The Catalan team was extremely powerful back then. It had some impressive names such as Samuel Eto’o, Ronaldinho, Andrés Iniesta and many others. Certainly with a team like this, if it were to play now, nobody would miss the chance to bet on the 1xBet website. It is also worth remembering that a young Lionel Messi was just starting his career back then. However, he was unavailable for the match due to physical problems.

How did the match progress

In general the match was quite even from the beginning. Back then, not only both teams had excellent players. They also had excellent coaches. The Catalans were coached by Frank Rijkaard, while the British squad was coached by the legendary Arsene Wegner. If those coaches were active now, making 1xBet – live betting Kenya would certainly be an excellent thing to do.

Jens Lehmann was chosen as the best goalkeeper of the tournament so far. However, everything in the interest of his team would come crashing down at the 18th minute of the first half. This is because Samuel Eto’o took the ball and went on to face the German goalkeeper. Lehmann came out of the box and desperately tried to stop the Cameroonian. However, he brought him down. The referee didn’t have any doubt. Red card for the keeper, and his team would need to play more than 70 minutes with 1 player less. With a match of this quality, making 1xBet Kenya live betting is certainly a great option.

Everything went on Barcelona’s favor after that

Arsene Wegner didn’t have much choice. He needed to take someone out of the pitch in order to bring Manuel Almunia, the substitute goalkeeper. Wegner decided to take out none other than Robert Pires, who was one of the key attacking players for the team. If Pires would play today, to download app 1xBet to bet on him would certainly be an excellent choice.

Arsenal fought hard with 10 men. They even managed to score the first goal of the match. However, after that, everything went in Barcelona’s favor. Goals from Samuel Eto’o and Belletti were definitely what sealed Arsenal’s fate in that match. Currently, those who want to bet on the UEFA Champions League can always make the app 1xBet download procedure and get tons of wagering options.
